Indications:
Control clostrodial species particularly Clostridium septicum and mixed infections in layers and broilers. It is an antibiotic which is very effective in treating outbreaks of clostridial diseases in poultry(both NE and GD) prevent gangrenous dermatitis. Gangrenous skin necrosis may be associated with various aerobic and anaerobic bacteria; however, Clostrodium septicum, Clostrodium perfringens type A, and Staphylococcus aureus, either singly or in combination are most often involved. Combined infections are often more severe. Young chicks immunosuppressed by infectious bursal diseases or chick anemia virus are predisposed. The disease may occur secondary to avain adenovirus or reticuloendothelial virus infections as well. Skin lesion due to trauma, or sharp(Suefecial) wounds may provide entry sites for causative bacteria. Prevent and control these above symptoms. (gangrenous dermatitis)
It act against on gram negative as well as gram positive bacteria such as E.coli, proteus vulgaris Salmonellae, Hemophilus, influenzae, Klebsiella Pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is effective on prevention and treatment of enteric disease caused by bacteria and viruses.
Its mechanism is to block cell membrane selective permeation function. Thus it is very effective on killing enteric pathogenic bacteria, but hard to produce drug resistance. Control Chronic respiratory diseases and infectious synovitis. Prevent and cure diarrhea, caused by bacterial endo and exo toxins.
Dosage/Administration Premix: 1gm in 4ltrs, of driniking water for 3 to 5 consecutive days or 250gms per ton of feed for 5 to 7 consecutive days for prevention. FS:250gms to 500gms per ton of feed, Double the dose in several conditions. With Drawal time: 5 days
Recommendations: The medicated water should be administered within 24 hours and supplied as the sole source of drinking water.
