INDICATIONS:

• Colistin is a highly selective antibiotic for prevention and treatment of infectious enteritis
  caused by gram-ve bacteria
• Colistin powders in the intestinal tract hence it maintains its potency in this tract even in the
  presence of food, digestive ferments, enzymes, puss and puss — forming organisms, and
  necrotictissues.
• Therefore, Colistin is an ideal drug for treating a variety of the gastrointestinal tract infections.
• Calves, Sheep, Goats and Pigs: Gastro intestinal infections caused by E-Coli and salmonella,
  Colibacillus, with Pseudomonas , Shigella , Heamophilus and Aerobacteria in poultry and large
  animals

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATIONS :

Oral administration via Drinking water, The medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
Livestock:

Calves, Sheep, Goat: 1-2 gram per 40 Kg Body weight twice daily, during 5-7 days.

Pigs :

250 gram per 500 litres ofdrinking waterfor 5-7 days (or) as advised by the Veterinarian.

Chicken, Turkey & Rabbits :

1 gm /1 0 lit of drinking water for 3-5 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD :

Meet : 2 days

Milk :  5 days
