FENBENDAZOLE AND NICLOSAMIDE BOLUS/SUSPENSION

Composition:

Each uncoated bolus contains : Fenbendazole I.P. 1.5 gm,Niclosamide I.P. 1.0 gm

Contains : (Niclofen)

Niclosamide |.P. 10% w/v

Indications :
– Controls mature & Immature amphistomes, Iiverflukes, Adult Tapeworms, Round worms &
Lung worms, of livestock & poultry.
– Niclosamide is used to treat Tape worm infections in live stocks. Niclosamide works by killing
tape worms on contact. The killed worms are then passed in the stool.
– It inhibits oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria of the worms resulting in energy
depletion, used to treat nematode and trematode infections in domestic animals, broad
spectrum of activity against round worms (nematodes), an ovicidal effect, and a wide safety
margin.
– Fenbendazole is most powerful anthelmintic. A broad spectrum for treatment of
gastrointestinal infections due to round worms, lung worms, tape worms, Amphistomes and
liver flukes.
– Fenbendazole has an ovicidal effect, kill all larval stages of worms, having immune
stimulant properties.
– Controls signs of fluke infection include weakness, diarrhoea, anaemia and unthriftyness.

Dosage: As directed by the Veterinarian.

Administration: Give un diluted oral drench.
