FENBENDAZOLE,PRAZIQUANTEL AND PYRANTEL PAMOATE TABLET/BOLUS

Each uncoated tablet contains :(Prafentel)
Fenbendazole IP 150 mg
Praziquantel IP 50 mg
Pyrantel pamoate IP 144 mg

Each uncoated bolus contains :
Fenbendazole IP 500 mg
Praziquantel IP 50 mg
Pyrantel pamoate IP 144 mg

INDICATIONS:

– For the treatment and control of roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris Ieonina); Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala); and Tapeworms . (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis) in dogs and puppies.

– It is a worming tablet for dogs. It contains three active ingredients having different modes of action and spectra of activity, each of which serves its own unique purpose. Praziquantel is effective in  killing cestodes (tape worms) Following exposure to praziquantel, the tape worm loses its ability to resist digestion by the mammalian host, it does by helping the dog to digest the tape worm, there by killing the parasite. Pyrantel Pamoate is effective against the hookworms and ascarids.
-Pyrantel pamoate acts on the cholinergic receptors of the nematode resulting in spastic paralysis.
Peristaltic action of the intestinal tract then eliminates the parasite. And finally, Fenbendazole
helps to block the energy mechanism for Parasites like Tapeworms & Whipeworms (trichuriasis)
thereby eliminating these parasits.
– The combined tablet/bolu s formulation provides a wide spectrum of activity against the indicated
species of intestinal helminths.
– Praziquantel/pyrantel pamoate/fenbendazole Broad spectrum anthelmintic tablets are indicated  for removal of tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus, and removal and control of Echincoccus multilocularis). For removal of Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala), Ascarids (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonino) and whipeworms (Trichuris vulpis) in dogs and large animals
