Action : Bloat is primarily due to gas entrapped in the rumen ingesta. Silica in dimethicone increases the surface tension of the gas bubbles and allows these to come to the surface and eruct in a normal mechanism through the mouth. This is the only scientific anti blot treatment. It is life saving when the animal is in severe suffocation and discomfort because of entrapped gas.

Indications : All kinds of bloat Silica in dimethicone is very rapid in
Administration & Dosage: Oral : 100 ml of Silica in dimethicone at
a time by drenching or with the help of stomach tube, twice a day
for cattle and buffaloes and 20 ml for Sheep and Goat.

lntraruminal : 100 ml silica in dimethicone at a time by using a long needle be administrated in the rumen through
the left paralumbar fossa. The dose for cattle is 100 ml and forsheep and goat is 20 ml.
