SULPHADIMIDINE BOLUS 5 gm

Composition :

Each uncoated bolus contains :
Sulphadimidine IP 5 gm

Indications :

• PreventionofEimeriaalabamensiscoccidiosisbyalong-acting.
• Sulphadimidine is highly effective against a wide range of bacterial,
  protozoal and certain rickettsial organisms. It is particularly used in cases
  of Septicemia, Pneumonia, and diseases caused by Salmonella,
  Pasteurella and coliform organisms. Sulphadimidine is used for oral
  treatment of gastrointestinal infections, respiratory infections. Fowl
  cholera and Coccidiosis in poultry and rabbits. It is used for the treatment
  of intestinal parasites known as coccidia. These parasite are single celled
  organisms capable of causing intense diarrheas in their host.

Dosage:

Curativezl bolus / 2.5 liter ofdrinking water for 3 – 5 days followed by 2 days
followed by 2 days then the treatment resumed for 2 days again.
Prophylactic dose half treatment dose.
